Nauset Light

The Nauset Lighthouse is a restored historic lighthouse on the Cape Cod National Seashore in Eastham, Massachusetts. The lighthouse dates back to 1838.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Nauset Lighthouse stands 48 feet tall. The lighthouse has been moved a few times over the last 180 years. Most recently, in 1996, it was moved about 300 feet across the road thanks to coastal erosion on Cape Cod.

Scientists estimate that the lighthouse should be safe in its present location for another 30 years.
