Woke up early to shoot this legendary barn in the Tetons. Got some splashes of color on the mountains during sunrise. Such a beautiful scene. 📸: @peterstringer for @amazingamerica

One of our favorite shots from Wyoming. Had to trudge through some mud to get there but the payoff was worth it! 📸 : @peterstringer for @amazingamerica

The Corn Palace is multi-purpose facility that is known locally for hosting high school basketball tournaments, polka festivals and rodeos.

Before you dismiss it as a “corny” tourist trap, you should know that Johnny Cash also played here three different times. Show the proper respect.

(We’re going to give them a pass on the Warrant/Firehouse double-bill in 2014.)

This kitschy roadside attraction, adorned in domes and minarets on the exterior, is covered in crop art murals inside. We’ll give you one guess which crop they used. Built in 1892 to “encourage people to settle in the area,” the Corn Palace holds 3,200 people for proper events, but hosts over 500,000 visitors every year.
