Sleepy Hollow Farm
Note: Sleepy Hollow Farm is a private residence, and the locals are asking that tourists refrain from visiting during the fall, as its popularity has become unmanageable.
Sleepy Hollow Farm in Vermont has become one of the most photographed fall foliage locations in New England, if not the United States, and for good reason. It looks like a painting come to life.
According to NewEngland.com, brothers Samuel and John Doten “left the family farm for a new life in central Vermont.” The brothers built neighboring farms, and the property has changed hands several times over the past few decades.

SLEEPY HOLLOW FARM
PLEASE STOP PROMOTING SLEEPY HOLLOW FARM IN POMFRET VERMONT
This is PRIVATE PROPERTY. The tourists, photographers, Tiktockers, Instagrammers, bloggers, etc. have no respect for private property, traffic problems, and leave behind mountains of trash; they pick vegetables from personal gardens, swim in ponds on posted land, clog the road so no emergency vehicles could get to frail residents, etc. The problem has snow balled over many years to the point it is not manageable. PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND PRIVATE PROPERTY; NO TRESPASSING; NOT A NATIONAL PARK, ETC. The entire state of Vermont is beautiful during fall foliage. Thank you
Stay Away!
This is a PRIVATE RESIDENCE. There are NO facilities of any kind- no parking, no bathrooms, no food, NOTHING. It is also surrounded by private land and private residences. During the Fall, the road becomes so JAMMED with traffic that no one can get through.
It is NOT WORTH IT!
