Nightmare Rock
The Alabama Hills in Lone Pine, California are packed with incredible vistas and motion picture history. And then there’s Nightmare Rock, a modern art installation that looks even scarier at night!
It’s a fun photo spot, “gramworthy” for all ages. It’s a fun side trip for kids when visiting the Alabama Hills.
Also, if you’re into astrophotography, Nightmare Rock makes for a great foreground if you’re doing a long exposure shot of the galaxy! Just don’t get too close. Those teeth are sharp!
